Bolt-On Ripping Knife-Hybrid
The BORK is a bolt-on device that will mimic the action of a riving knife. It is easily adjusted to match saw blade height and it can be removed easily. It will follow the saw blade up and down. Adjustments can be made left and right and rotationally to allow precise alignment with the saw blade.
The BORK is supplied with a "splitter" made of .080" thick aluminum, which is ready for all saw blades. You may substitute a .100 thick blade at no additional charge. This blade is to be used with full-kerf saw blades only. The .100" blade is also available separately if you want both.
Please Note: For maximum safety, the BORK must be used with a zero clearance saw blade insert and an overhead blade guard. Precise adjustments are necessary for safe use. Because I cannot control the installation or use of the BORK, you will be asked to acknowledge a liability waiver before your BORK is shipped.
